In short: We text you only about something you asked us about. Reply STOP to any message and it stops immediately. We never sell your number, and agreeing to messages is never a condition of buying anything.
1. The program
Inerica Systems sends text messages to people who have given us their mobile number and asked us to be in touch — through a form on this site, a form on a site we run for a client, a phone call, or in person.
Messages fall into one of these:
- Replies to an inquiry. You asked a question; we answer it.
- Quotes and estimates. The number you asked for.
- Appointment and job updates. Confirmations, reminders, a driver's estimated arrival.
- Account and billing notices. Invoices, failed payments, renewals.
- Occasional service updates, where you opted in to them separately.
2. Consent
We send messages only where you have given prior express consent, and for anything promotional, prior express written consent, as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act requires.
Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase. You can buy anything we sell without agreeing to receive a single text.
Where you consent through a form, we keep a record of the exact wording shown to you and the time you agreed. That is not bureaucracy for its own sake: a record of consent is only worth anything if it can produce the disclosure the person actually saw.
3. Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your inquiry and the service you asked about.
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for messages; your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan. We have no control over and no visibility of what your carrier charges.
4. How to stop
Reply STOP, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL to any message from us. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing further.
Opting out of one program does not opt you out of others you signed up for separately. If you want out of everything, reply STOP and then email admin@inericasystems.com so we can remove the number everywhere.
5. How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for our contact details, or reach us directly on (650) 695-6404 or hello@inericasystems.com.
6. Carriers and delivery
Messages are sent through Twilio. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed — a message can fail for reasons neither we nor Twilio can see, including your handset being off, out of coverage, or filtered by the carrier.
Do not rely on SMS for anything time-critical or safety-critical. If something matters, call.
7. If your number changes
Tell us if you give up a mobile number that you gave us. Numbers are recycled, and consent does not transfer to whoever gets it next — continuing to message a reassigned number is exactly the situation the TCPA exists to prevent, and we would rather hear it from you than find out the hard way.
8. What we do with your number
We do not sell mobile numbers, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing. Numbers reach our messaging provider so that a message can be delivered, and nowhere else.
The full picture is in our privacy policy, including how long we keep records and how to ask us to delete them.
9. Messages sent on behalf of a client
We also run messaging for businesses whose sites and systems we build. Where you receive a message from one of those businesses, that business is the sender and its own terms apply; we operate the system on its behalf. The message will identify who it is from, and STOP works the same way.
